Done in East Stroudsburg Headed to Reading

We reached out to the homeless Wednesday night in East Stroudsburg. I asked a homeless man to pass the word to which he assured me he would; after that it is in God's hands. No homeless people showed up. However, a young lady with many kids that she cared for heard of our outreach and came over for a bite to eat. Carol hit it off quickly with her, and the gospel was preached. It reminds me of Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Greek term for hope here (elpis) means 'confident expectation' or 'anticipation.' As we trust God, we can 'expect,' and 'anticipate' life eternal as He promised through Jesus Christ, and we can do the same as we rely on Him to make our mission fruitful. Again, even as things don't always go as we expect, we can be confident that Four Disciples Mission will bear much fruit for His kingdom. Please be praying for us, as we trust in our Lord for a successful mission in Reading, Pennsylvania. Pray that a church will come alongside us, and that Christ will be preached to many open ears and eyes.

Peace & Grace
