You never know the impact for God's Kingdom

My sister told me a story this morning of how someone years and years ago may have, in some way, been partially responsible for at least one person in her family coming to know the Lord, and possibly even more. This woman, to this day, could never know the impact she has had. I think of the 50 homeless people we've connected with in the first couple of weeks of our ministry (this is a liberal number because when we are connecting with these people exact counting gets lost), and I know we can never know the impact. However, just think about it. God used one person to open my eyes to God's great gift, and through this God has used me to bring my family to His grace & mercy. That's five people that this one guy had an impact on; then add in all the people I know the Lord has used me to show the way to His kingdom, and then the people they touched. Add in the potential of these 50 people we've reached through our ministry, and you can get lost in the numbers. Just like the Alberto VO5 shampoo commercial, ". . . then I tell two friends, and they tell two friends, and so on, and so on . . .." Romans 10:8 says that the word is near us, it is in our mouths and in our hearts; this is the word of faith that we proclaim. We know that word is that Christ died for our sins and to believe in Him gains us His Kingdom forever. So we must never forget to proclaim our faith because of the potential impact it may have. Please pray for all the people God has touched through Four Disciples Mission as well as the people that He will continue to touch. All for His glory.
Peace & Grace

We never know who we touch through our Faith and serving the Lord. As I pray for Gods will in my life and I see the intimate touch of our Lords hand upon Four Disciples Mission and those the mission was sent to reach. I can't help but convey not only my feelings but the knowletic truth that A.W. Tozer expouses in his book the pursuit of God, when being released of the bond of worldly things and relationships that replace our God. He states it is to be taken seriously, and not to be understood as mere Bible teaching to be stored away in the mind along with an inert mass of other doctrines. It is a marker on the road to greener pastures, a path chisled against the steep sides of the mount of God. We dare not try to bypass it, if we would follow on this holy pursuit. We must ascend a step at a time. If we refuse one step, we bring our progress to an end.
Tozer is talking about the monstorous substitution of God's gifts taking the place of God. What can we learn from the trust Four Disciples Mission puts in the Lord and the words our God keeps close to the mouths and hearts of those who serve Him. For His word to be in my mouth and heart, God's gifts in my life need to be replaced with God. So I speak of him as my knowetic truth and proclaim my faith for the potential impact it may have on others. Thanks for the the carity that God gives you, and the fulfillment I feel you receive in your Faith and Trust in God. It is inspirational. I know that through my maturity in my faith in Jesus and my walk in the word, I too will be able to spread the word of the Lord and work onto him.

May the glory and grace of the Lord be with all who serve Him and His Kingdom.

Amen
