Proverbs 14:21 Those who despise their neighbors are sinners, but happy are those who are kind to the poor. As you view the picture to the left I promise you that the smiles on their faces are proof of the mentioned proverb. These are the people from Heislerville United Methodist Church at Cumberland Family Shelter (with the exception of the two children on the front right, they are homeless children). By God's grace Four Disciples Mission's first stop was a success. I tear up as I think of the possible impact for the souls of the people we reached. We will never know until we enter into God's glory the impact our mission will have. This group that aided us in preparing, delivering, and serving the food to the homeless at this shelter is just a handful of many who made this mission successful. Thanks to Dave and Sysco Foodservice for supplying a large portion of the food. I heard a lady say how awesome the turkey was. One kid said "THE MEAL WAS BANGIN." I was even able to connect and talk of our great God to a 35 year old young man named Derrick. He agreed that our Lord does provide. Pray for Heisleville United Methodist Church as they attempt to carry on this ministry, and hopefully build eternal relationships with these downtrodden people. Pray for us as we attempt to reach the same success in Lakewood, NJ. All for God's glory. Remember in Luke 14 Jesus said when you have a banquet do not invite the rich who can repay you, but to invite the poor, the lame, and the blind for they can't repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.

I love how you brought to bear Our Lords words of invitation to those who cannot repay.
It is so hard to give without condition.
My time expunged, effort taken, Me, I, Myself,I will get to heaven through all the great works that "I" did. You alway say all to the glory of God. That it must be without repayment of, recognition, grandeur, attention, through consciousness or coin.
I gave the expense of finance and time doing a deed of good a couple of weeks ago and I could not wait to inform all of those around me of my good deed. My reward will be at heavens doors before the judgement of my Father, not for what I do, but what God does through me as his faithful servant. As you say, All for God's glory.
I pray for Gods will to be clear in my life. I pray that the Lord our God is always allowing you to see clearly your mission and that our eyes and ears are always open and receiving his direction. In Jesus name you will spread the word of Glory and Grace and plant the seed of His awesome power to meet all the needs of those who have faith in him. Thank you Lord how you have used Four disciples mission to minister to me and to bring me to the light from darkness. May Gods grace and glory be with all those who serve him.
Amen
