I know what some are thinking. I have been working for the Lord since I accepted Him into my life. As I prayed with the kids this morning I talked to them about being homeless and jobless. Many people would see this as crazy. Bailey (my daughter) said, "You're not jobless you work for God!" How true that is. Now I even have to depend on Him for my everyday needs. Tough to fathom, but even though it's scary I must admit there is no place I'd rather be. I have to depend on the creator of the universe; the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Sounds easy, but it's not. As I write this, however, God reminds me of His majesty as a bird sits in front of me eating bugs off the softened ground as it snows. Who can create such beauty and has such power? My God reminds me He is here. I well up in tears as I write this. Remember our God says that faith is the hope of things not seen. However, God makes Himself visible to us as soon as we open our eyes in the morning -even at night in our dreams. God created things about us, and around us that are visible to us 24/7 - miracles only a God as great as ours could have done. He even made Himself like us through Christ so that we might know Him more, and know how much He loves us. So look around today, and see. Then ask yourself, could this just happen by mere chance for no reason whatsoever? We wouldn't accept that answer for something as simple as a bicycle, why would we accept it for . . . well look around! I for one, having written this in this moment, am glad I work for Him. All for His Glory. I will update you on our stops tommorrow
Peace & Grace Doug
