God is Preparing Us Yet Again!

Good day everyone,
I felt it time for another update. We have been at Pinebrook for a week and a half now and I'm getting the itch to get moving again. However, I know God is using this time to help me seek His wisdom and encourage me. I have been surrounded by a multitude of people here that have given me insight, wisdom and prayer. I have also been taking some time to read about other missionaries and their stories. As I read about people like Heidi and Rolland Baker I see how God has taken a couple of people with nothing but the desire to love Jesus, and to show that love, and has used them in ways I could never imagine. These people live every day in the poorest of the poor areas of the world, and write about the multitudes of people who have come to know the love of Christ despite their desperate situation. On page 68 of their book Expecting Miracles Heidi writes, "God is not about using the mighty, but the willing. He is not into using amazing people, just the ones who are prepared to lay down their lives to Him. God is not looking for extraordinary, exceptionally gifted people, just laid down lovers of Jesus who will carry His glory with transparency and not take it for themselves." God again confirms my thought in that this is what we desire to be for God. Not mighty, not amazing, not exceptional or extraordinary, just ordinary people who can do His work by His strength for His glory. Thank you God for your wisdom, grace and mercy.
