The time is near how is our faith?
The bus went to the shop today, it needed a new fuel pump and sending unit. When we heard the cost we learned that diesel mechanics charge much more than regular gas engine experts do. Then we start to worry about finances. As I prayed this morning I realized (as I already knew but God has to remind us sometimes) that it's all Gods. The bus and the money spent on it is all for His glory, and His purpose, so do with it as He may. The Bible tells us we come here with nothing, and with nothing we will leave. This in itself, however, requires much faith from us. When we grow in this faith we become less worried because we rely on God to work these things out. And He always comes through. Why us, I ask Him? Then I remember that the Bible says His ways are not our ways, don't lean on your own understanding. I will not know the answers until I come into His Glory, but until then I pray as I prayed this morning. "God give me a never ending faith in you, and the strength to rely on it." Our departure date is looking solid. We will first travel to N.J. to tie up loose ends with our bookkeeper, and I have a friend that has a large garage that I can finish off the finishing touches on our bus. While there we will do our first mission in the Atlantic City area. Then off to Virginia, then possibly, South Carolina, Atlanta, then Florida.
